Let It Snow

Let It Snow

I am in Alabama. Three days ago the weather man started talking about the S word.

No REALLY. The S word. Here. In Alabama.

See??? Lead story!

Do you know what happens when the weather man does that?

Yep, shelves are already empty. 🙂 Hey we were all Girl Scouts.

So while we dream of this.

In reality it may be more like this.

With a lot of this thrown in.

Just the same, I am standing at the back door nose to pane dressed in long johns with carrot and scarf at hand. Hoping.

I feel like my sweet Grandmother who got more excited about a snowflake than any kid I have ever known.

And if my snowman mirrors my week it will look a lot like this.

See ya!

If it’s of any consolation, in New England the same thing happens with a snow storm. Grocery stores are striped! Best of all, you are guaranteed that with the first snowstorm everyone has forgotten how to drive in snow. I’m happy to stay in as long as I have some candles and the wine supply has been replenished long before any storm.
